• Common fault symptoms are if the oven will not light but the ignition is clicking or if the oven flame will not rise after 30/90 seconds then this is the part thats almost certainly at  fault
• no ignition ? check clock is set to manual
• Anyone carrying out work on gas appliances or fittings as part of their business must be competent and registered with the CORGI (the Council for Registered Gas Installers)
• Only a competent person may carry out work on gas appliances or fittings. Do-it-yourself work on gas appliances or fittings could be dangerous and is likely to be illegal

This flame failure device is a necessary safety requirement for gas burners on most domestic appliances, including cookers, gas fires and gas boilers etc, and can obviously be incorporated on other industrial gas fired appliances.

The solenoid valve holds the valve open until the flame is detected, and then de-energised. If the flame fails, the valve closes.

All models feature a Non-mercury charge (H2O).
